My wife , son, and I had the opportunity to get a sneak review of the new attraction on Mariners Landing – the “Ghost Ship”. The attraction was a conversion (thats an understatement) from a mini golf course to the pirate ship. As always, the Moreys did a fabulous job of adding a new dimension to the pier complete with actors and “vaudeville” type shows. The interesting part is that the attraction will change throughout the summer so if you go back to the ride it wont be the same. You must try the attraction but suggest you do it last at night-for an even greater spooktacular experience!

Russo’s Restaurant a Wildwood Landmark closed its doors on Saturday October 11, 2008 after 86 years of being in business. This was a big event and many locals were pouring out of the bar that night. The place was so crowded the overflow was out on the sidewalks and in the street. A good time was had by everyone who was there. It was bittersweet at the end of the night to see many old & new friends and know that a local hang-out was no longer going to be around. We said goodby to the Russo Family and wished them well in all their future endeavors, however I am sure the party continued on well into the early morning hours. For more on this story paste this link
