The Dogtooth Bar & Grill located on Taylor and NJ Aves right next to Kona Sports is the place to be. It is a great spot to find some of the locals hanging out. The food is delicious, if you go try the wings (wing nights are Thursdays) and my favorite dish is the Volcano Shrimp. A tip try the wings dipped in a side of the Volcano sauce, to die for!!! The portion sizes are big so bring your appetite. The Dogtooth offers indoor seating and patio seating, you can find daily drink and food specials, and nightly entertainment such as Name that Tune and smaller bands. You can’t go wrong with the Dogtooth!

This year Cabrera Realty introduced it’s new tag line , “Family Traditions Start With Us”. We learned that folks vacation and purchase property at the shore not only for the proximity to the beach but because it was part of their FAMILY TRADITION. We live here in Wildwood Crest and enjoy the solitude of the off-season but now that its getting warmer, we’re excited for the Spring and Summer. One of our Cabrera family “local” traditions, is our Sunday lunch at Sams Pizza at 26th street and the Boardwalk and Curly Fries. They just re-opened (Yes-there is life at the beach in April!) I guess you could say all diets are off! Why not share some of your Wildwood traditions with us!

Russo’s Restaurant a Wildwood Landmark closed its doors on Saturday October 11, 2008 after 86 years of being in business. This was a big event and many locals were pouring out of the bar that night. The place was so crowded the overflow was out on the sidewalks and in the street. A good time was had by everyone who was there. It was bittersweet at the end of the night to see many old & new friends and know that a local hang-out was no longer going to be around. We said goodby to the Russo Family and wished them well in all their future endeavors, however I am sure the party continued on well into the early morning hours. For more on this story paste this link

One of the new up and coming restaurants that came to the Wildwood’s this
summer was the Jersey Girl Restaurant located at Schellinger and Atlantic
Avenues. The Restaurant, operated by the John Family, formerly of Pacific
Grill and the Sandcastle Restaurant, has one of the best menus and
atmosphere on the Island. I have to rave about #1 the Pear Salad, #2
Bartender Tim, and #3 did I mention the Pear Salad. Our party of 6 enjoyed
a delicious meal and afterwards headed to the bar for a nightcap, where Tim
entertained us, along with a late night crowd and good music. The Jersey
Girl is kid-friendly in the early hours and it seems they are trying to get
the 20-30 somethings there for a later night local hang-out. If you are in
the Wildwoods, you definitely have to check this restaurant out!

definitely a place you have to try when visiting the Wildwoods. One
reviewer wrote:

“Dominic’s Place is definitely the best restaurant in Wildwood. I’ve never
had a bad meal. The lamb chops are sublime, the duck “to die for” and the
fish specials are always innovative, fresh and delicious. It’s an intimate
BYOB that is open year round. Which is great for locals to have something
this fantastic without having to leave the island.” This reviewer agrees
100%!
